Ina Gardner is writer of many popular American cookery books. Ina also hosts Barefoot Contessa on Food Network. It began in 2002. Ina started her career in the White House as a writer of nuclear energy policies and also the budget. Ina initially enjoyed the intellectual rigors of her job, but soon began to lose the interest. In her place, she purchased Barefoot Contessa, a specialty food shop. Before selling the business, she spent 18 years building it into a highly successful store. Numerous magazines and cookbooks were later published. The Food Network TV show also debuted, and was a huge hit. Also, Ina sells products that range from food items to storage containers and other equipment. Ina, who is self-taught, has never studied at the culinary institute or at an establishment. Ina is well-known for her easy style of entertainment as well as her simple food preparation. Her most well-known recipes include easy recipes like Skillet of Roasted Lemon Chicken Macaroni and Cheese with Beef Bourguignon and the Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts.
