Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a performer, writer, and actress in the United States for the past 40 years. She is most famous for her role as Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV show Gilligan's Island). Her acting career began as a stage performer in the 1950s starting in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. Following that, she performed on Broadway in a variety of performances until 1957 in which Li'l abner was famous at the National Theatre. Within the same calendar year she released her first music album called It's Tina Time. Louise was first introduced to Hollywood in the role of Griselda Walden on God's Small Acre a 1957 drama film. This movie was hugely popular and Louise got the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. While students in Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. The next memorable role she played was in 1964. She signed with CBS for the role of Ginger Grant. Louise had a successful career in Hollywood and Broadway as a somber character that reflected her reputation as a the glamour girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 & Sanctuary but she also made a mark as an accomplished television director on numerous series, including Supernatural as well as The 100. She was born on 28 August 1965 in Essex. At the age of 3, her family moved her to Toronto in Canada where she spent throughout her early years. Following her selection for the role as Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997 and was there ever from then on.
