Cecily strong

Cecily Legler Strong has been an extremely popular American actor, comedian as well as a cast member on 'Saturday Night Live. Her first stage experience was in acting, but discovered her love for stand-up comedy at nine after a class in the art of improv. Her initial goal was to be a professional actor however, she realized her true calling is comedy. Her next step was doing in improv. The first time she performed was on cruise ship with fellow crew members from Second City Conservatory and iO Chicago. Strong was able to continue performing at popular events such as Chicago Sketch Fest, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, New York Sketchfest, and Virgin Daiquiri which is an female-only improv troupe. It was in 2012 that she went famous when she appeared on "Saturday night Live. She hosted the Weekend Update segment with Seth Meyers initially, and later together with Colin Jost. Cecily's most defining moment during the series was in the episode "The Girl You Wish You Hadn't had a conversation with at a Party'. The year before she also began her film career with the short film "How to sponsor the Uterus'.
